AlaWeb Vanity Mailbox Administration

Welcome to your AlaWeb Vanity Mailbox administration page. Please read this introductory page carefully before proceeding.

From these web pages you can maintain up to 10 "vanity mailboxes", for use by other members of your household. Although these vanity accounts do not have dial-up access, they are valid email addresses, with separate mailboxes on the AlaWeb mail server. Other members of your household can then have their own personal email address and mailbox, rather than sharing yours.

If you need help configuring your email software to support multiple accounts, please contact support@alaweb.com. This page simply allows you to create and delete the mailboxes on our mail server - you will have to set up your email software to take advantage of these extra accounts yourself. Most modern email packages, like Outlook Express or Netscape, allow you to have multiple accounts, but we can't set that up from here.

IMPORTANT NOTE - we are allowing our users to manage their own vanity mailboxes on the old fashioned Honor System. Please respect this, and remember that you are only allowed to create these mailboxes for members of your household - which means people who physically reside under the same roof as you.

Click here to proceed to your vanity mailbox administration page. By doing so, you agree to abide by the rules given above, and understand that AlaWeb reserve the right to remove any vanity mailboxes that do not meet the "same household" criteria.

NOTE: - you will be prompted for a username and password when you access the mailbox administration page. You should provide the same username and password you use to read your email, and to dial in to AlaWeb with. Do not append @alaweb.com to the username, i.e. if your email address is joe_public@alaweb.com, use only joe_public as the username to log in to this page with.
